I think I'd be Superstitious.

Belichick's red sweatshirt, Tom's new haircut, his girlfriend sitting in the stands...

Could these seemingly minor details have caused the Patriot's loss yesterday, thus causing the seriously depressed state I now find myself in?

I understand everyone wants the "underdog" to win, but didn't anyone want to see this amazing team pull off a perfect season?

Is everyone so callous and cold-hearted that they can't be happy for a winning team? Every person I've run into today has said "I'm so glad the Patriots lost." Not "I'm so happy the Giants won," they're just happy that the Pats didn't. Because how dare they have a perfect season.

The Patriots deserved to be there. No one can deny that they worked their cute little butts off all season. Their appearance in this year's Super Bowl cannot, in any way, be chalked up to luck. Unlike Eli Manning and his Giants (she said with disgust).

Granted, it was a hell of a game. And Eli actually looked like a quarterback in this one, but...

Pats 3

Pats 1

Pats 2

Pats 6

Pats 4

I wanted him to win.

If it helps any, I wanted the Patriots to win. I thought it would be really cool for them to have a perfect season and for Mr. Tom to get his fourth super bowl ring.

It was sad.... Great game though.

I wanted the Patriots to win, too, but only because I don't like New York. Nothing personal to New York. Maye it's the way everyone yells at everyone there, although I'd fit right in.

But I liked the Patriots and I was shocked when they lost. In fact, last 60 seconds of the game, Tom asked me if I thought that the Giants would be able to pull it off at the last minute and I said "No way. Not after the Patriots had won all season."

I couldn't believe it when the Giants scored that touchdown.

And btw:

"Could these seemingly minor details have caused the Patriot's loss yesterday, thus causing the seriously depressed state I now find myself in?"

I'll stop ending my sentences with prepositions when you stop using LOL in your posts.
