I'm having a love affair.

With selective color.

I mentioned it before, but I honestly never thought I'd be a fan of selective color photos, especially since black and white just doesn't turn me on.

But then this happened:
M&Ms 3
Remember these M&Ms? I did this for fun, to learn something. But then I got sidetracked and walked away from the computer and forgot all about it. I probably went to watch TV. When I came back, something miraculous happened. I liked it. No, I loved it. That could be due to the fact that I absolutely adore the color pink, but whatever the case may be, this was a new favorite. And suddenly I began to see the potential of selective color.

Since then, I've succumbed to the following...

Hubs' dog.

I can't help it. M&Ms are one of my favorite candies... er... subjects to photograph. What I really like about this one is that I was able to change just the color of the M&Ms to black and white. One M&M and the surface they're sititng on are still in color. I love it when I learn new things.

I want to commission some photos from you. I like the selective color thing, too. Here's what I want:

Pictures of a law office in the greyed out color, with maybe one book in color, or a plant in color. We could even do themes. A row of pictures with a book emphasized in one, a desk in another, and so on. See?

Oh my gosh!! I LOVE those pics. You have to make more pics have selective color or whatever. But I REALLLY like them. MORE. Oh yeah and can you guess who this is?
