Last week, I asked my kindergartner's teacher who's class she is placing him in next year. She told me that she didn't have the list anymore and that she couldn't remember who she placed him with. Yesterday, I went to the principle to find out. It turns out that the principle hasn't received the list yet. So, today, I went back to the teacher and she said the other kindergartner teacher has the list. Fine. I go ask her and am told that the teacher's are not aloud to tell the parents. ARGGGGG!
Now I get to wait until the end of this week/beginning of next week before I can find out. If he gets that teacher and the school is not willing to trade him (which is what I have been told by office people) then I will be homeschooling him next year.
See, what you need to know about my #4 is that he is very quiet. He is also, most likely, ADHD. He bounces off the walls and he has to constantly be told to stay on task. The reason that he is so quiet is that he can't make his thoughts slow down long enough to find the words to say. So, IF he gets that teacher and IF she treated him badly, then #4 would probably not tell me because it would be too hard and take too long to find the words.
So, now I must wait and let me tell you: I HATE waiting.

Do they have IEPs in Utah schools? If you get him an IEP, most likely they will match him up with a teacher who can deal with him the best.
