My 14-year old daughter, Justice, is a sweet wonderful girl.
When I woke up on Saturday, August 23, 2008, there was a note taped to my bedroom door that read as follows:
"Mom, by the time you read this, I will have run away from home. Not really. Wake me up at 10:00. Justice."
I read pretty fast, and my brain thinks even faster. By the time I got to "...I will have run away from home", and before I read the next sentence, I was already thinking, "Oh, my God!!! Why did she run away? Where can I find her?" My heart was in my throat.
But then, of course, I read the next line that she was kidding, but I was ready to almost cry. You would think that because she was just kidding, I would be relieved, but I wanted to kill her.
Justice does not have a good sense of humor. She is a mean, evil child. I'm going to save the letter to show her children some day.

Well, considering that I did do that to you, no wonder you got scared immediately. Sorry MOM!!!
I just couldn't imagine why she would run away from home. :(
