It has been 5 days since we moved out. As of today, everything is out of the house. The concrete floors have been ground down. Bathroom counters have been ordered, we are going with cultured marble. We have our tile.Let me tell you about our paint. I love the colors we picked. Hubby hired a neighbor guy to spray the paint, repair any drywall that needs to be retouched, and to paint the trim and doors. Last night, the neighbor decided it was time to paint the bedrooms. First he sprayed primer on all the walls and then he went back over them with the color we wanted. This morning we get to the house really excited to see the color we picked. The color is awesome. It is exactly what I pictured in my head. The paint job was HORRIBLE. There was paint puddles on ALL the window sills. Paint was dripping down the walls. We couldn't believe it.
Hubby is a sucker. He gave the neighbor another chance to fix it. Let's hope he does because, otherwise, I will be fixing it and not paying him.
I will see about posting some pictures tomorrow.

Your hub made the right decision. The alternative is paying someone else to do it again, and suing the first guy for a refund. Letting the original guy redo it outweighs the cost of a lawsuit.

We weren't supposed to hire anyone to do the paint anyway. I was going to do it. So it just made me even madder.
