I'm not sure how I feel about those ads that have been decorating the left side of our blog recently. I just know I feel something strongly enough that I need to post about it.
Hubs insisted (to the point of asking for my password so he could log on and do it himself) that we should advertise on our blog.
I said "No" very adamantly. We don't have enough readers. No one is going to click on them. And they're ugly.
As far as I was concerned, their appearance alone was reason enough to say no.
Then we remodeled. The blog, that is. And I thought, what the hell. Let's put some ads on here and see what happens. Can't hurt. We have some extra space.
And, in fact, it's proven to be quite amusing.
The ads change to offer products and services that are relevant to our blog. So, for the first couple days I chuckled and rolled my eyes when attorneys were our major advertisement. Much like our lives, it was all about law.
Then I posted a story about donating blood and the lovely panic attack I had. And for a few days we advertised Anxiety Remedies.
Shortly after that, Teeter posted about her weight loss efforts. And poof! Advertisements to rid yourself of belly fat!
I'm not sure if they're helping us... or mocking us. I'm tempted to write about diarrhea just to see what's advertised next.

I think the ads are fine, and provide some amusement. I noticed the same thing: Whatever we write about precipates the types of ads we will see.
