The Student is an over-achiever, i.e., something's wrong with her. Just ignore her. You'll feel better. :)
And btw, I think it's funny that she was nick-named "the Student" and she turns out to be a high achiever and gets into honors classes at the high school. I told her it would be cool to extract whatever it is that makes her tick so we could bottle and sell it. I think we could sell it for more than the price of Ritalin.
