Idiot Painter

Last night the painter tells Hubby that he will paint all the baseboards overnight so they are ready for the carpet to be put in today. Hubby tells him if there are any problems, to call so we can take care of it.

This morning we go to the house to clean it and get ready for the carpet and, lo and behold, only half the trim is painted. ARG! And guess what?! We did not get a phone call last night.

We don't know what happened to the guy. We haven't heard from him today, which is odd because he lives down the street from us. So, we spent the entire day masking off the walls and the floors to fix the crappy job he did and to paint the stuff he didn't paint.

Oh yeah, and we had to put off carpet another day. I sure hope the guy doesn't think he is getting paid.
